I have 3 very sweet girls. I try to teach them about their individual gifts so they will know they are each special…
Today, I am talking about Cara. Cara has the gift of empathy. It amazes me how wise she is about the feelings of others.
Last night I was watching TV and she walked through the room. There was a lady on TV crying. Cara stopped, got tears in her eyes and said “I feel sorry for that lady”. I said “Cara, that means you have empathy for how she is feeling”. Cara said “yes, I am empathy”. I said “well, you are empathetic” and she said “I am empathy-etic”, I said “yes, you are”!
All three of your girls are special Christy, and they have a good Mother and Father!
Thank you Susan! Love, Christy
You may not want to post this b/c it may make others (esp. parents) jealous…but as a child-free gal, I can unbiasedly observe that you have unusually beautiful children…probably the best-looking in their neighborhood–if not their school. I’m embarrassed to say I came across your blog after watching a rerun of “Supernanny,” and have noticed you’ve been a bit down lately. I know this is superficial, but sometimes it’s the little things that can lift you up the little bit that you need…and I am willing to bet that there are mothers who see you in the car line or on the playground with your three gorgeous girls and can’t help but feel envious. To them, you have three beautiful representations of you & your husband, who are also healthy, smart, good souls and precociously funny. I don’t know if any of this helps. I hope it does at least a little. Peace, Pam
Thank you Pam! I appreciate your comments on both my blogs. I am always happy to meet the people who read!
I am feeling better but it has been a long journey and will continue to be, for a while. You definitly cheered me up! Love,Christy
