Schrage Update

April 3, 2008

Hi, I have to write an update to Emma’s tooth story. It finally came out. Last night, Emma lost one of her two front teeth.  We didn’t get to use the tooth box but the tooth fairy visited anyway.  Now, she needs to lose the other tooth so she can be totally front toothless.

Also, our supernanny episode is going to be on April 23rd.  I’m not allowed to blog about it but so many folks have asked me when it is aring, I thought I would just post it somewhere on here.

 Have a great night everyone!

Oprah, corset,waist,small,tiny

March 14, 2008

I just have to write one more time about this. I promise I will stop after this time.  It is so funny to me how many people are still being led to my blog because of the corset lady from Oprah’s show.

That has been weeks now. She is one popular chick.  The searches are so funny-Oprah corset, oprah tiniest waist woman, corset lady, smallest waist ever on Oprah. It goes on and on and on……….

Okay, as much as it amuses me, I won’t talk about this again. ha ha.

Oh, and Kadi Prescott, you are second. It’s Kadi Prescott, Kadi supernanny, Supernanny Prescott family, Daniel Prescott and on and on and on. Maybe Kadi could wear a corset. ha ha. Just kidding Kadi, you definitly don’t need a corset. 😉

 Have a great night!!!

The Prescott Family on Supernanny

March 6, 2008

I loved seeing Kadi Prescott on supernanny last night.  She was so real and honest. I love that.

I am so glad Kadi and Daniel were able to restore the relationship with Kadi’s dad.  Forgiveness is so essential for us to move forward in life.  It was great to see a family willing to work on this HUGE issue. Now, he will be able to be a grandad to all of those kids!

I was in tears much of the show.

Thank you Kadi for being REAL on television.  I know you helped millions of families!!

Oh, and you are all so cute!!!

Favorite Blog Post of the Year

December 30, 2007

Hi,

Since I started my blog in January of last year, I thought I would tell you about the most viewed posts.

It is interesting since I can tell which posts people like the most and the things they put in search engions to end up here.

One of the funniest things someone searched for was “what does the church think about Tomagotchi’s”. That person may have too much time on their hands. ; )

For months the most viewed post was “Being Real” where I talked about being real with people and I quoted the Velveteen Rabbit story. Lots of people searched for the “Being Real” quote.  I guess that should tell us all about a BIG need for people to be REAL.

Everyday someone searches for “the Depths of My Heart”. Some people search for “Simon Peter”. Lots of searches for scared shelties too.

The most popular post on my blog by FAR is “the Big Texas Spider Web”.  I would have never guessed that one!!!

Thank you all so much for reading this blog. Writing is such therapy for me. I hope to continue doing it!!!

 Happy New Year!!!

Searching for Sincerity

October 2, 2007

I have been thinking a lot lately about sincerity and motives.  How some people become friends and others do not. How some people are good friends and some are aquaintances.  I was trying to decide what I search for in a friend. I started thinking about people in the public eye I find interesting.  I love Beth Moore, Rosie O Donnell (I don’t have to always agree with people), Wynonna. These are the people who I will sit down and watch if I have time.

Next, I looked at people I am close to in my life. People I have kept in contact with, people who are my good friends.  It seems that I seek out people who are sincere, people who are REAL.   I have been very blessed to find so many friends who are sincere.

I am now praying to be a friend that is full of sincerity.  If it is what I need in people it is probably what everyone needs in a friend.

 Have a happy week!!!

Jo Frost the Supernanny

September 28, 2007

Well, I have to admit I love the spernanny show with Jo Frost.

I think it started when I developed some disc problems in my neck and I started letting my kids get away with more and more.

My sweet little blonde angels have started to fight like pit-bulls.  Ellie smacks Emma and Emma smacks Cara and on and on.  Since I grew up basically an only child (Debbie is 18 years older than me) I had no idea kids fight like this. I would have never slapped anyone.

Since this is a POSITIVE blog I will spare the rest of the details.

Back to Jo Frost, I LOVE her!! She can walk into a house and give the parent the much needed encouragment they need to make positive changes.  She sits by the mothers as they try to make their kids sleep in their own beds, she helps them as they have to learn a better way of dicipline.  She is firm but so caring that you don’t notice the firmness.

Maybe all parents need encouragement at some point. I know I am there right now!!
